Family Gatherings

  • Family gatherings are some of the most honest, layered, emotional events I photograph. They’re rarely perfect, but they’re always meaningful. I care about documenting them because I know how fast life moves and how rare it is to have everyone in the same place at the same time.

Maybe it's a reunion, a milestone birthday, an anniversary, or just the first time the cousins have all been together in years; whatever the reason, I show up ready to catch the in-between moments as much as the big ones. A laugh at the kitchen table. A quiet hug. A grandparent watching from the corner with full eyes. That’s the good stuff.

  • I’ll blend into your family dynamic without taking over the day. My gear stays minimal so I can move around easily and stay out of the way. I’ll give light direction when needed (especially for group portraits), but otherwise, I let things unfold naturally.

    You can expect:

    • Candid coverage of your gathering—meals, games, conversations, and everything in between

    • Lightly posed group photos without the stress or stiffness

    • A calm, observant presence who knows when to step in and when to disappear

    • A full digital gallery of high-res edited images

    • Delivery within 2–3 weeks, with sneak peeks available upon request

No over-posing. No pressure. Just your family, as they are.

  • Pricing varies based on the size and length of your gathering, but here’s a general range:

    • Mini Sessions (1 hour, up to 10 people): $200–$550

    • Half-Day Gatherings (up to 4 hours): $550–$1,100

    • Full-Day Gatherings (5–8 hours): $1,200–$2,000+

    • Extended Family Reunions or Multi-Day Events: Custom packages available

    All packages include:

    • Unlimited edited images

    • Full-resolution downloads and private online gallery

    • Group portraits and candid coverage

    • No surprise fees or image limits

If you're coordinating a multi-generational or multi-household session, I’m happy to talk through logistics and help create something that works for everyone.
